This is the pinnacle of qualifying for the Olympics for all things pool related. World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024 hosted 6 different sports – Artistic Swimming, Diving, Open Water, Water Polo, Swimming and High Diving.
Torpedo’s divers Megan Yow, Avvir Tham and Ashlee Tan has done well to put in their best efforts at the Championships.
Ashlee Tan participated in the 3m springboard event, securing a score of 217.20 and finishing 37th out of 53 participants. In the regional context, she claimed the 8th position in Asia.

Avvir Tham took the plunge at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha, competing in the 1m springboard event. With a final score of 198.05, he secured the 38th overall position and 7th in Asia.

Megan Yow earned a respectable 186.40 points in the Women 10m Platform event. Despite being the youngest competitor in that category, she finished 41st of 46 participants.
