Asian Age Group Diving Championships Conclude with Strong Performances from Torpedo Athletes

The 11th Asian Age Group Diving Competitions came to a thrilling close at the Aquatic New Clark City, showcasing exceptional talent and fierce competition. Among the standout performers were athletes from Torpedo, who delivered commendable performances across various events.

In the Group C category, Wong Ying Rui demonstrated remarkable skill, securing third place in the 3-metre event with an impressive score of 230.25 points. She continued to shine in the 1-metre event, clinching another third-place finish with a score of 221.60, out of a total of 11 divers competing in the event.

Another notable performance came from Alycia Lim, who showcased her prowess in the Girls A category. Lim secured the fourth position in the 3-metre event, scoring 284.50 points, a testament to her dedication and talent. She also participated in the Synchronized 3m event alongside Clara Liaw, where they scored 158.10 points, securing the fourth position out of six participants.

In the Boys B category, Samuel Chew demonstrated resilience and skill, finishing eighth out of 18 divers in the 1-metre event with a score of 272.00 points. Chew also competed in the 3-metre event, securing the 11th position out of 22 divers with a score of 263.40.

Team Torpedo expresses immense pride and congratulates them on their outstanding performances. The championships, which featured athletes diving from various heights in the springboard events, provided a platform for competitors to showcase their skills and dedication to the sport.
