United Diving Cup 2025

24 young divers from UWCSEA and Torpedo programmes took part in the United Diving Cup on 21 June 2025 held at UWCSEA Dover. The competition consisted of 3 events: Girls Junior, Girls Senior and Boys Junior. All our divers showed great determination and tenacity throughout the competition and we are excited to share the results!

In the Girls Junior event, Ena Ang delivered a series of polished dives to earn 1st place in the Girls Junior division, finishing with a total score of 85.40 points. Close behind was Cara Liu, who secured 2nd place with 82.05 points, while Nayla Norhakim claimed 3rd with 80.30 points after an impressive final forward jump.

The Girls Senior division was highly competitive, with several divers attempting more challenging dives with higher degrees of difficulty.

Heather Lee, posted the highest overall score of the entire meet with an outstanding 105.05 points, her precision and consistency stood out across all four dives. Maya Kong followed closely behind with a strong performance and a total of 102.05 points, while Sarah Chan-Sew placed 3rd with 94.45 points, showing solid execution.

In the Boys Junior category, Garrett Ng came out on top with a score of 100.90 points, showing strength in both dive difficulty and consistency. Ethan Chan placed 2nd with 93.90 points, and Isaac Ng rounded out the podium in 3rd with 76.75 points.

Across all events, our divers gave their best, not only through strong scores, but also through encouragement, team spirit, and focus. For many, this was their first time competing, and it offered a valuable chance to be in a competition setting to build confidence in a supportive environment. The experience has set a solid foundation and prepared them for larger competitions in the future.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who gave their endless support from the stands. And of course, a huge congratulations to all our divers, who competed with resilience, and sportsmanship.

We couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
